While on this unit I had to learn the animation as I was producing my final piece which made the animation lower quality, I will definitely practice animating in the future and looking for new ways to do certain animation, but from what I produced I leaned a few valuable skills. One skill included rigging which wasn't perfectly done but I learned the foundation of it and could probably produce an even better rigged animation int he future.
Overall, I found this unit to be quite tedious (especially when animating) but I am not ashamed of what I produced, while it could be longer and of much higher quality I found my first attempt to be quite good and if I had the choice of doing it again I know what I would add, how I would improve it and the areas that I could learn and use more skills for.
As for other people's thoughts and opinions I asked my cousin what he thought of it and how I could improve it. He said that he thought it was a good effort, it really aspects of DADA in its complete randomness especially with the hand and its eerie movement. However, If I could improve it he said that the movement of the glass felt a little awkward and out of place to everything else after it was hit with the ball. He also found the art and lighting could be improved to compliment the animation more and give it a higher quality.
