DADA is an art form created during world war I to express people's feelings while using a satirical and nonsensical style. It allows people to create art without having to follow guidelines, thus allowing for all types of art to be created under the genre type DADA.
Below is a GIF which shows 3 images using the DADA art form. As you can see the art can be very diverse to express dada.
DADA can be used in any form or medium including music, animation even video games. Below are some examples:
In 1915 a swiss woman named Sophie Taebur met a German-French sculptor known as Jean Arp at an art exhibition in Zurich. Jean had moved to Zurich to avoid the drafting happening in Germany, the two worked on multiple projects together and even got married which changed Sophie's name to Sophie Taebur-Arp. Sophia taught weaving and other textiles at a Zurich university. Her work between 1916 and the 1920's are among the earliest constructive work.
It was during this period that she was involved in the Zurich DADA movement which mainly concentrated on and drew a lot of inspiration from a night club in Zurich known as the Cabaret Voltaire. She took part in a lot of DADA inspired performances but was mainly known for her designs on the puppets she created.
